No, I can say that, because I've tried it before with Sam. He gave up on teaching me because all I did was use his extra staff as a sword ^^;

I wouldn't combined them... I know that much for sure, and if anything, I would be more likely to mess up any chance of using a staff by using it more like a practice masamune ^^;

Yeah that would be nice. I'm not too excited about your bow staff though. Learning two disciplines may result in combining them - and they aren't exactly disicplines that you would benefit from by combining.

I dunno a time, but somewhere where we could have a melee would be nice. I need to get some out door sword time! I haven't been able to use by shinai and bokken since around September! Oh! And I need to get my bo-staff trimmed so I can learn how to use it :D
